About Edinburgh, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Edinburgh is a lovely Indiana town with charm, appeal and an ever changing landscapes. The climate is hot in the summer and cold in the winter, making it an idyllic place to relish seasonal variations as the historical buildings are shrouded in blooms in the spring and covered with snow in the winter. To be a small town, there is an excellent amount to do, with shopping, dining and culture that you would expect from a bigger city.  It is just big enough and busy enough but still small and quaint.  It is everything that one imagines when we think of a typical Midwestern town.

Edinburgh was the first settlement in Johnson County, Indiana and is, therefore quite rich in history. It is also adjacent Columbus, Indiana.  Columbus is home to seven national historic landmarks.  If you are looking for a warm weather activity, you may want to visit Columbus.  There, you can pass the day walking through the city.  With schools, churches, offices, homes (and more!) that were all designed by architectural icons, you can’t walk a mile without practically tripping over the history that oozes from the seams of Columbus.

On a cold winter’s day, what can you do?  Well, if and when you want to escape the cold and get indoors, you can check out the Edinburgh Outlet Mall. There, you will find many national chain store outlets.  If you are looking for something a little bit more unique, you will want to go shopping at some of the specialty shops and boutiques in downtown Edinburgh. Not in the mood for shopping? Take in a film or a stage performance at the famous Pixy Theatre. Constructed in the first decade of the 20th century, it was originally used as a Masonic Lodge and has taken on many other roles over its many decades of existence. It is probably the most significant building in the town.
